Tastes of Lincolnshire 

 

Tastes of Lincolnshire is a tourism project aimed at attracting people to the area to sample the fantastic food and drink that Lincolnshire has to offer. Tastes of Lincolnshire promote sustainable farming methods, non-battery production, healthy, tasty fresh food and drink with a low carbon footprint. Seeing the Tastes of Lincolnshire logo in a shop, restaurant or bar guarantees the customer a high quality experience.

As part of the Tastes of Lincolnshire project we have certain criteria which we have to meet. The Olde Barn Hotel is passionate about not only meeting, but exceeding these criteria on a daily basis. The criteria states that:

  • Each menu offered to customers must contain a minimum of 3 locally produced items of food and/or drink. Where a menu offers more than one course it should offer at least one option on each course.
  • On each day that we are open we must include and highlight the local choices.
  • The Tastes of Lincolnshire mark of approval, together with Tastes of Lincolnshire promotional material must be displayed within the premises.
